Little’s Restaurant has been open since early 2011 and has already established itself with a regular loyal clientele
Willie Little is well known in the area and has a wealth of experience in the catering industry with Little’s being the latest in a line of popular eateries he has owned and run in Angus and Perthshire over the years.
Willie is passionate about fish so it’s no surprise that all things fishy feature highly on his menus. Such is his passion that for several years, in another life, he sourced the best fish and shellfish for some of the top hotels and restaurants in Scotland.
Through his fishmongers, Fish in Crieff, Willie has access to the freshest fish that Scottish waters has to offer coming daily from Scrabster Market in the North of Scotland – from market to plate within 12 hours.
What We Offer
At Little’s we are committed to catering for every taste using local produce wherever possible and, for the customer who would rather not eat fish, meat and game are, of course, included on our menus. There is always a choice for the vegetarian and we can turn out a pretty good pizza too. We have daily changing specials on our chalkboard, delicious homemade bread, yummy puddings, homemade fudge with your coffee so there really is something for everyone.
To complement your meal we have an extensive wine list carrying some Decanter Award and Natural wines.

We then finished our mains and wanted desert but were worried it wasn’t worth the effort of waiting that long. Trying to get served ended up being all we talked about for a significant portion of the meal and it deflated the experience significantly.
It was probably just an off night though, and as I said, food was still amazing.

Hubby had wild boar and I had sea bass. Both dishes were excellent, cooked to perfection. Restaurant renovated to a high standard. Staff and owner were very attentive and welcoming.
Fell upon this place quite by accident. Remarkably warm on a cold day considering the restaurant sits within a converted church. For starters I had salted cod mousse with langoustine... read more tails pickled with cloves and star anise. I needed extra bread to wipe every morsel from my plate........ absolutely delicious. Then had smoked king scallops served with a seafood selection. Did worry that the smoke flavour would hinder the sweetness of the scallops but so subtle it was a triumph. Again practically licked my plate clean. If I had to find fault I would simply say that “straw fries” are not my favourite version of cooked potato. My wife’s goat cheese bonbons for starter and cheese soufflé were also equally well received. The service is relaxed but confident in the produce crafted in the kitchen. The pride and enthusiasm of the staff is palpable. All in all a very pleasurable and memorable experience. Without being too disrespectful to Blairgowrie, if this restaurant was located in any other major town/city there would be a 6 month waiting list!

A lovely restaurant in an old church. Selection on the menu was very good, varied and mainly dependent on the catch of the day
